Clayton Vert Ramp Ripping

Went to CVR after the Church of Skate (CoS) this past Sunday. Myself, James, Chuck Powell, and the O’Neal brothers; Donnie (14) and Dylan (11) from Currituck, NC. You might see a slight Dave Maxwell influence in their skating.

Check out the HD version (best) or the SD version here.

Folding Skateboard

I was perusing CraziestGadgets.com and stumbled upon this folding skateboard. At first I thought it was an art piece or some sort of skateboard decor. From the photo it’s for ‘Carry On”. It was created by a UK designer named Chris Jackson.

Raleigh Skatepark Big Bowl Video

Shot a few minutes of video on March 29, 2009. A few of the Artisan crew were skating as well as local Thomas Henson. The skatepark was not officially open at the time but it didn’t stop the hundred or so skaters that day.

The park is supposed to “soft” open on April 4, 2009 and the City of Raleigh is planning a “Grand” Opening on May 2, 2009.

Team Pain’s SkateArt

Yeah, that’s right Tim Payne and crew are creating skateable art out of concrete. Not only do these pieces of art look cool and modern they also skate good (+1).http://www.teampain.com/skateart/images/page2_03.jpg

What TeamPain is doing here is building skateable terrain that is also art. So if your town is building a skatepark and/or skate plaza this might be something to check out.

Raleigh Skatepark Photos (construction)

Took a trip out to the park with Marshal during lunch. Such a nice day to visit the Artisan crew. When we go there they were shooting the big bowl’s deep end.

Took a few photos.

Here’s Marshal standing in the flow area by the channel wall with pool block.

Vert, pinup chicks, hot rods, and ripping!

Creature’s Rumble In Ramona went down on Oct. 18 and from the looks of the photos and video everyone had a good time, except for maybe Peter Hewitt. He didn’t look like he was having much fun–maybe he was taking a break?

Cancer Dust

Josh “Peacock” Henderson just dropped a teaser for his new video “Cancer Dust”.  Looks like it’s all about barging pools and stripper chicks–yeah, strippers.  Hot chicks bailing water out of pools. Can it get any better?
