OSB Skateboards?
Well the skateboard isn’t made of “OSB” but it sort of looks like it.

Vehicle Skateboards is working with Pop Master Innovations to bring you a skateboard made from recycled wood fiber veneer substrate and recycled skateboard decks.

StrangeNotes…
Just thought I would pass along a couple of sick skate videos from Strangenotes.com. I’m sure most of you know about the StrangeNotes DVDs and their web site. Creature has a new DVD coming out soon called “HESHLAW” so check it out along with a David Gravette Strangnotes’ “Checkin’ In” video after the jump. David Gravette rips street, stairs, pools, and skateparks just the same.

SKATEBOOK.TV with Video Goodness
If you have yet to check their blog out I suggest you do so. These are the guys that create the “Skatebook“. And they just consolidated all their videos into a single blog post/player so you don’t have to jump all over their blog to find the good stuff.

Skateboarding shot at 120 fps with a Red One Camera
This is some pretty amazing slow-mo footage of random dudes skating steps at 120 frames per second–compare that to a normal SD/HD camera at just shy of 30 fps. They are being filmed with a “Red One” HD camera. It’s a cheap (relatively speaking) pro HD camera. Just the camera body retails for around $17.5K. The price will go up once you add lenses and accessories. Yeah, that’s cheap considering other pro HD cameras at 5 to 10 times that price.

Dwindle Distribution’s New “Wood Shop”

This Dwindle Distribution video about thier new wood shop (“DSM”) is making the rounds. It’s also upsetting in a way. Why? Well, it looks like this is a Chinese (or Asian) factory. Every worker is Asian, It’s definitely not in the US since I didn’t see a single Mexican.
If you were ever interested in how a board is made (yeah, I know you think you know, but you probably don’t) this is a must watch. Pay close attention ot the way Dwindle modified their presses to make sure each board has the same tail/nose kick and concave (starting around the 4 minute mark)

Found at ton of photos (literally) over at the skullandbonesskateboards.com forum by slob-air. This dude took photos of just about everything there–including cops checking out a longboard. Be sure to check out all the hand-painted boards, old skool boards, the mini-ramp, Natas and Salba, and expo chicks.

Black Label Turns 20!
From Transworld Skateboarding’s site:
After 20 years’ worth of straight rawness, a celebration was definitely in order. Matt Hensley’s pub was the place, the Black Label crew were the people, and as for the party?
Chet should see a dentist–damn Luda!
