Tony Hawk broke his pelvis

Ouch...

Here's some video of the slam courtesy of steelehead (I know he shot the video due to the way he keeps the skaters in frame)
Although, shortly after the ‘Skate Jam’ started Tony Hawk fell during a routine trick resulting in a pelvic injury & a hematoma. The Orange County Register is reporting that after thanking the crowd for coming, Hawk, who had to be helped into the nearby ESPN Zone, removed himself from the event.

broke my pelvis on Vets Vert ramp in 1992...hated that fukker ever since! overhead FSA + slick steel = washout and :oops: ....Gonna be alot longer recovery time since he's in his 40's. Herting!!!

yeah, theres pretty much no comfortable position with a broken pelvis. a buddy of mine shattered his in a car wreck. took him a LOOOOOOONG time to recover.
